The Sidekick is a handmade leather phone pouch and crossbody phone holder, handcrafted by Burton Hill Leather in Fort Worth, TX.

The Sidekick gives true hands-free carry, keeping your phone, ID, and card close without the bulk of a handbag. Wear your Sidekick as a leather phone lanyard, slip your hand through the built-in back handle for clutch style carry, or tuck the compact leather phone sleeve inside a tote or travel bag.

Designed and built for concerts, travel, markets and everyday adventures. It's signature pull-tab does the work for you: pull the cast ring upward and your phone rises from the sleeve for easy access. No digging, tugging, or fishing around for your phone when you need it.

The Sidekick comfortably fits phones ranging from an iPhone 13 mini to a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with a case. The pull-tab raises different phone sizes high enough for easy removal. Very bulky protective cases, including some OtterBox styles, might require the roomier version offered in limited quantities at the Tandy event.

Every Burton Hill Leather piece is handcrafted from genuine leather. Natural grain, markings, scars, wrinkles, and variations in color are part of the hide's character — not defects. With use, your piece may soften and develop a patina unique to you.

Every Day Care

Keep your leather dry when possible and avoid prolonged exposure to water, excessive moisture, and allow to air dry naturally. Never use direct heat to speed drying.

Cleaning

For most finished leathers, remove dust and light surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol, disinfecting wipes, and harsh soaps. Always test any leather-care product in an inconspicuous area first.

Conditioning

Smooth finished leather may benefit from occasional conditioning when it begins to feel dry. Use a quality product made specifically for leather and apply sparingly.

Specialty Leathers

Suede, nubuck, hair-on-hide, metallic, embossed, painted and other specialty finishes require different care. Do not automatically apply standard leather conditioner to these materials.
