A compact 4 × 3-inch bespoke leather wallet, made one at a time by hand in Fort Worth. Nearly three years of refinement, carefully folded edges, reinforced construction, and individual hand stitching make this a small piece with an exceptional amount of work behind it.

The Lewis & Clark Wallet is the result of nearly three years of refining what a compact wallet should be; small enough to disappear into a pocket, substantial enough to feel unmistakably handcrafted, and thoughtfully constructed for everyday use.

At just 3" x 4", its clean profile conceals a surprisingly capable interior. Multiple card compartments keep essentials organized without unnecessary bulk. A dedicated cash compartment is integrated between the two wallet halves, preserving the streamlined silhouette.

What truly sets the Lewis & Clark wallet apart is its construction.

Rather than leaving exposed cut edges around the perimeter, the leather edges are carefully thinned, folded, and finished, creating a refined edge design to withstand the repeated handling a daily-carry wallet receives. Internal Carazza reinforcement provides structure without excessive thickness, while Kivex-lined card pockets create a smooth, durable interior. Thin RFID-blocking fabric is incorporated within this construction for an additional layer of everyday protection.

The wallet is then hand stitched, one stitch at a time, a deliberate construction choice that complements its compact scale and gives Burton Hill Leather precise control over the final assembly.

Every Burton Hill Leather piece is handcrafted from genuine leather. Natural grain, markings, scars, wrinkles, and variations in color are part of the hide's character — not defects. With use, your piece may soften and develop a patina unique to you.

Every Day Care

Keep your leather dry when possible and avoid prolonged exposure to water, excessive moisture, and allow to air dry naturally. Never use direct heat to speed drying.

Cleaning

For most finished leathers, remove dust and light surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol, disinfecting wipes, and harsh soaps. Always test any leather-care product in an inconspicuous area first.

Conditioning

Smooth finished leather may benefit from occasional conditioning when it begins to feel dry. Use a quality product made specifically for leather and apply sparingly.

Specialty Leathers

Suede, nubuck, hair-on-hide, metallic, embossed, painted and other specialty finishes require different care. Do not automatically apply standard leather conditioner to these materials.
